I have had this tank up and running for a couple years now, but I am new to canreef and I thought I might show my build

Those of you from kamloops might remember this tank, it used to be the coral tank at total pet.

I stuckc a couple pieces of acrylic over the overflow to hide the white pipes.

I did this model on google sketch up of my canopy because I find it hard to plan stuff out with 2d drawings. Worked out really well!

Here is a shot of all the stuff in my closet that I was itching to set up for mounths!

you may want to reconsider those MH reflectors.....I had a couple over my 72G and was really unhappy with the hotspots and dark patches, I switched them out for some sunlight supply reflectors and it was night and day difference.

Canuck - I didn't realize that different reflectors made that much of a difference! I am pretty happy with the reflectors, but that is something to keep in mind for when I start to get some sps.

Here is my auto top off system. Its so simple and easy to make. The best part is I don't have to add water every day!

I used half inch pvc and a half inch masonary dill bit to make some rock towers and structures.

Check out the nice dark stain on the stand and canopy. I used magnets to put oak covered sheets of wood on the metal stand.
