OUCH!!! I don't think so, this hobby is expensive enough, imagine it dieing while being shipped...
yes.. that would be a very painful DOA... or a very very expensive snack for an LPS loving fish. Can you insure corals? i wonder..
Edit: i want to be friends with that guy (or gal) who can drop $1800 on a one eyed chalice!

Jeez, it's not even that nice!! I've seen much nicer ones for much, much, much cheaper!
FYI, no you can't insure corals, but vendors may have a live arrival guarantee.
