Who here uses ZeoVit? Either partially or in full.

Exactly. I'm dosing coral vitalizer, sponge power, and amino acids....but that is the extent of my Zeo usage. I don't subscribe to their bacterial ideas.
I'm also accepting that all three of those items smell like acetic acid. (Vinegar)

I ran zeo for almost 1 year and it worked great for sps. It pulled allmost all the po4 out of my tank. Its a great system I think.
I got tiered of dossing once to twice aday, work gets in the way. The colours in some of my coarl got brighter and some died, soft coarls.

I dose the full system now & the reactor... 2 months in and i have seen a slight improvement. Theres no set guidance with regard to dosing it's much more trial and error. I think i may be over dosing one or two products though as i have been getting a brown algae appear over the substrate. Could be my lighting though as the bulbs are due for a change...
I have committed to run the system for a year before i make any judgments though

I use some Zeo products, some Fauna Marin and lately some Brightwell. I use the zeo/ultralith rocks in a DIY reactor, the carbon sources, bacteria, amino acids and also add some potassium. Until I started with the rocks and the carbon sources I was always battling nitrates and phosphates. Now, nothing.
Colors are very bright and growth is terrific. For about $1/day for my 200 gal. it is a very good investment IMO.

Lets not start battling, just wanted to know the ratio and so far it is about 50/50... This tells me enough people may find Zeo beneficial, but for those who don't, that is ok also.
I myself, find things very stable, great coral growth and color that I didn't get without it. I also agree, for the low cost per day, I won't stop using it.

You NEED Zeovit.
Nah, brown corals need lovin' too :) However, you do NEED metal halides.
I use the reactor, sort of, when I remember to swish things around, although I have nicer colors now than I've ever had. I've seen better colors in non-Zeovit tanks (read Jamie's tank), but for me, this works.

Wholeheartedly dis-agree......sps can be done with either MH or HOT5s....deciding factors are heat and tank depth
