Just curious if people have other hobbies besides our saltwater tanks? I've had a few and
I'm sure my wife wants to kill me by now but I've cut back to only 2 real hobbies.
First is my saltwater tanks and the second is my Hockey collection.
I pretty much collect whatever Calgary Flames although I do have some nice Flyer pieces!
I have a wack of signed 8x10's,signed replica jersey's,posters, knicknacks,Macfarlane's,Game used sticks and game used jerseys.
Here's a couple that I have handy,I have a couple that I keep in plastic!! :)

Not sure if you call it a hobby, but dog sports are the other activities that consume all my time and money!

I play tournamnet Paintball (speedball) and flyfish whenever I get the chance...the comination of these three serves to keep me broke and in the doghouse with my wife on a full time basis.

For me its snowboarding in the winter (religiously, today was my first day out at c-o-p), in the summer I have my motorbike which i am on 90% of my free time.
I play foosball and I also curl. But I gave up curling so that I'm only out one night a week as I play foosball one night a week. My wife thinks I have too many hobbies. My biggest hobby of all is spending time with my wife and kids though....so they get first dibbs over everything.

Motorcycle riding, wood working, SCUBA diving, snowboarding, water skiing, windsurfing, cocktail mixing, MTG, comic books, heavy metal and horror movies... Recently I tried learning guitar too but it wasnt a good fit. No kids, wife, house or job means I have a lot of 'me' time.

Taking my baby girl, Felicia, out for some quality daddy-daughter face time:biggrin:
I love to camp (although must have camp fire), boating (used to own a 18.5' speedboat with a 220hp BMW inboard capable of 37 knots) - now I have a canoe & paddleboat. Used to do a lot of fishing when I worked in Powell River on a lake at a fish farm. Back then, I had lots of free time & played guitar, painted T-shirts & sweatshirts, and other crafts.

Oh man, I burn through hobbies like crazy...
Photography, DJing, Skiing, Golfing, Paintball (not much anymore)....
I usually go ALL out on any new hobby I pick up for the first year, then something new comes along, but those ones have been around for awhile, hell I've been skiing for 23 years...

I'm kind of surprised how many flyfishers there are here. Here's a pic of one of my most amusing catches this year, hooked up stripping a leech through the weeds.

Actually that's the funny part. When I pulled it up I just kind of stood there for a bit considering how unlikely the situation was. Then I took a look at the poor bugger, figured the hook had gone through the swim bladder so I wacked him and took a couple pictures.
At this point it occurred to me that I was fishing water with a bait ban in effect, people all around me and a minnow on my line....
