I was wonder if anyone out there has had a Pyramid butterfly in a reef tank?
I have read that they are relativley reef safe.

So far, the reports from fellow reefers are that they are safe. I believe Greg (Coralmaster) has a trio and they are fine.

The most reef safe butterfly you can have. I know of a few people who have them. Also perhaps the least fussy for food. They are still butterflies though, they are pretty delicate IMO.

By "reef-safe", does that include LPS and clams by chance??? :D

I have had one for a couple of months and have had no problems at all. It is in a mixed reef and clams. Never been a fussy eater. Now that I have added my 2 cents it's probably gonna prove me a liar and eat my clam. Lol.

I have both a pyramid and a raccoon butterfly in my tank. It is sps only and I have not seen either of them go after any of the corals. The pyramid was definately the less picky of the two when it comes to eating. Now though they both eat whatever goes in the tank.
