IMO The Canucks/Flames rivalry is one of the better ones in the NHL. I don't think anyone else has the team to challenge these two for the Northwest Division title. The Flames may have won the game tonight but the Nucks sent them a pretty good message. Aside from a horrible 1st period where the Canucks couldn't get their heads out of their asses, they pretty much owned the Flames. Kiprusoff had to come up big in the third or Calgary would have blown a 3-goal lead. Come April these two are going to be neck and neck and it makes for some great hockey.

I agree, it's a great rivalry. I live in BC now but am still a Flames fan. We used to have that rilvary with Edmonton but times change and the Nucks/Flames matchup seem to be a better game to watch now.
