LOL I just posted about the game on another thread. Doug, your boys were pretty lucky tonight. If the Nucks hadn't played like chumps the 1st period it would have been a different outcome. Looking forward to this rivalry.

All that matters is that the right ending occurred.

It was a good game, but Sutter still has lots of work to do with the defensive play. It was reminiscent of the Flames of old, get the lead, and then relax defensively and hope Kiprusoff can slam the door. But the Flames dominated the Canucks in the first half of the game with their checking. I loved the hit Phaneuf put on Danial Sedin!

That was a classic Neufie hit.....elbow up just a little....but not enough for a penalty....he didnt really get all of Danielle....would have to agree though....still looks like the "tale of two teams" sometimes so dominant and other times so.... not:lol: Maybe having a Sutter back behind the bench will "smarten" the boys up???

I hope the Oilers are better this year. The Edmonton - Calgary rivalry was one of the best in professional sports, but it has not been the same in the last few years.
