Jw if anyone could help me with the difference between the light fixtures/bulbs. I have a 112gallon(72x18x20) and have heard good things about: Aquaticelife 72" vs 72" Nova Extreme Pro 12x39watt.

Because my tank is only 20" deep, would I have to change the stock bulbs(which is recommended anyways) to something possibly with less watts or are these fixtures too much for my tank in general?

Ears are open, Thanks.

i did a quick search of the first light and you only get 8 total that means 4 going across. with the nova you get 6 across, what you need to make sure is your tank is wide enough for either fixture. your tank is 18" wide, i have no idea how wide the nova one is, but check on that. and its hard to tell but it looks like the t5 dont have individual reflectors on it, which is pretty important for t5s. cant really say either way maybe someone else can chime in if they ever had experience with the first light or the second.

Yea I looked and they both will fit, just not sure if the bulbs are too strong and if needed to be changed to a smaller watt. The aquaticlife Product (Light without frame mounts)

71.3 x 15.4 x 6.2 in / 181.11 x 39.12 x 15.75 cm

Nova extreme PRO: 72" x 12" x 4.25"

So, I'm assuming with mounting brackets that the units will fit. The aquaticlife come with built in reflectors as well as the nova extreme but don't look as quality as aquaticlifes. Anyone else that can help me here would be great because I need light fixtures soon and want a good set opposed to a bunk one.

What type of corals are you keeping? Anemones? Clams?

I wanted to get an anemone and let it settle in first before trying to add in sps/lps after. Some ppl say do it some ppl say don't, but i am willin to take the risk. If all else fails i can remove then set it into a different tank.

Ah well looks like info stops here. I dont think I will house an anemone in my tank and just make it sps/lps. I'm about 80% sure that I will go with aquaticlife and maybe change the bulbs after I get readings from my PAR meter.

Thanks again.
