So i saw this gorgeous wrasse at a store in Toronto, and have spend the last 2 days trying to find out what it was.

Ive tried numerous of the big retail saltwater fish sites, and few others with no answer.

All i remember him saying was it is Austrailian, white with orange spots....and $200

Any good sites for wrasse id's?

More likely it was a choati leopard wrasse as PuffLuv already posted..

How so?
Just finicky eaters? or just don't do well in captivity

both, almost exclusively live food feeders, poor shippers, plagued with most of the things that make leopard wrasses difficult. theres a thread on reef central, it seems people can't keep them longer than 6 months.
