I picked up my new Blonde Naso Tang from Gold's today, he is doing well and eating like a pig... while taking some pic's of him, I decided to take some other pic's of tank and some inhabitants. Enjoy! Let me know what you think.

looks like an insane piece of plating coraline algae. GlobalDesigns correct me if i am wrong.

You are correct, it is coraline algae, I have a few areas growing like that... they look like heads of lettuce and are quite large.

I have changed my images and am now pulling them from my website. Easier to view and no limitations for me. HEHE

I will try to put more pics up soon, once fish start coming back out... They were hiding cause of the camera flash. Other fish I want to get pic's of are:
- Potter's Angel
- Solaris Wrasse
- Bangaii and Pajama Cardinals
- Maroon Clown hosting to an open brain
- Red Banded Shrimp
- Purple Lobster
- Much more coral shots coming soon.

That is a Sohal Tang, my prize fish... Been very lucky as they can be very aggressive... and he was, but is calming down with age. He is about 8 inches now from head to tail

they are a beautiful fish, I love the colors, he was hiding so I couldn't get a good pic to post tonight, will get one though.

Tank is finally at a point where I am happy to post pic's, only took over a year to get it there.

Just curious what it would cost to convert my aquarium from fresh water to salt. Fresh water aquariums just don't compare to the beauty of salt water tanks. You have a awesome tank. Nice pics!

Unfortunately yes. I lost one of the pair I have in a tank incident last month and I think the remaining one would be happier with another of his kind. :(

You didn't get the green pinapple favia in the back of that photo from Slough Shark by any chance? Great looking tank Rick, any updated FTS?

Great looking tank & sweet fish!

Thanks Spawn,

Very old pic's now, I want to do some more, but going to wait another month or so. Had some issues this summer, but things are in order now and tank is doing very well. Pic's soon I hope.

I like how the landscape just drifts down towards the left. Looks natural and when those colonies on the far right get big it'll be even cooler.

Quite the tang collection there. They all play nice?

Well the left side is bigger now, Rock and Coral of course, I still think it looks quite natural, I will get pic's up eventually.

All tangs play nice, the Sohal was the aggressive one, but over time he has grown up and is very nice to everyone. I do love my Sohal, it is the showpiece of the tank.

Ok, I feel I need to post a new FTS. Please remember that I had a major coral die off this summer, as many of you know. Don't know why, but it happened.

The system is coming back in full force, things looking good, but coral color not fully back.

Oh yeah, for all that haven't seen the new Hamilton Belize light fixture, here it is. I love this light!

Here it is, first pic posted on 9/15/2009, second one I just took (you can see the difference that a year makes):

It doesn't look too bad to me! Man that rabbit and anthias have sure grown!

I see the flow has changed a little too. In the second shot, what are the two circles at the back centre, where there was just a single powerhead in the first shot?

Well, I moved the Koralia's last week, the circles are the old spots.

Yup, you can see much more flow. First shot just had normal Koralia's, second has the 2 vortech's with the wave maker #4 Koralias. You can really see the flow on the surface.
