I have spent several hours trying to put pump in my sump. But seems like my pump does not have enough power to draw water from my fresh water bin.

I don't want to put my pump into my fresh water bin for easy bin replacement. Anyone has good idea how to make this work, I have these pumps available

maxi jet 1200, rio 2100, rio 2500, mag 7

If you want it to be real easy, use an aqualifter, it runs slow, quiet, uses small airline tubing, stays out of your sump AND reservoir and best of all you won't hear the impeller trying to right its direction everytime it starts up. They cost about 20 bucks at big als

Centrifugal pumps(our style pumps) have to PUSH the water. they will not pull it. So, in a ATO, you need to put the pump in the reservoir to work.
