hey everybody!

So friday night im finally upgrading from my biocube 29 to a 120 gallon tank and Im really really excited about it!!! The 120g is up and running at its current home and im preparing everything on my end to make sure everything goes smootly. i have 120g of salt water in my garage at temp ready to go. i also have 4 rubbermaid garbage can and a couple kent buckets for moving the rock and sand.

Is there anything else i should have? or anything that i should look out for?
any input would be great cause i have never done this before and i always like to be prepared:)

wish me luck!
Ray

Good-luck!!!!

Might want to use smaller containers so it is easier to carry. Or not put to much in the larger ones. How exciting.
Will you be getting fish if so have you thought about
using some of the water from there system?

i plan on trying to get at least 15 gallons of the tanks water. in the tank right now there is a nice filefish,5" hippo tang, juv. emporer angel and a couple damsels. i havent decided what else im going to add yet(thinking blonde naso tang in a couple months). i know i wont be adding any corals cause of the angel. anyone had any luck with angels and corals?

Maybe someone could chime in with more knowledge but I think if it were me I'd take more water, lots more.

would 40 gallons be ok? i could put 10 gallons in each garbage can. i should have enough room and weight wouldnt be to much of an issue cause im using carts and i also have my cube van from work and it has a powertail gate on it.

I would say the more the better. If you have not torn down your other tank I would be tempted to use water from it, if tank is healthy.

I have two angels in with soft corals one is a Potter and one is Chrysurus juv and they do not seem interested in them what so ever, however I put a moon coral in and the juv
Chrysurus does pick at it. I have bubble corals, leather, toadstool, frogspawn, xenia and
a large plate.

At least it is close. Don't forget the lids hopefully it will keep the heat in somewhat.
I have never moved a tank this way, have taken a tank down and transported to another
tank already set up. So much easier! So I hope it goes great!
