Rabbit fish are way to big to put in a 33 gallon.

I dropped a tiny Fox face in my 33 and he cleaned it out very nicly. Then moved him when he out grew the tank.
They work great.

Lower his nutrient levels in the tank.... more skimming, less feeding.

Manual removal worked for me.

Remove manually. Do it a couple of rocks at a time. Take them out and remove it. Keep it in observation in a bucket a few days to make sure you got it all. When you put it back in, place away from the caulerpa. Eventually, you will get it all.

rock removal would be a last ditch effort in my tank. They are large, structural pieces that willl be a PITA to remove/replace

Put in a small fox face. Thats what I did with mine and he cleaned it up nicely.
Kept him in there for a year and a half before moving him.
