hey there
I am in the process of planning my tanks for my new house.
i am going to have a quarantine system of a few tanks at hyposalinity for the fish.
however, if I set up tanks that are connected of one of my main systems, should that be enough to quarantine my corals if they are in their own tank (connected to the main system.)
are there coral diseases that can go from one tank to another thru plumbing.
I was going to put filtres on the out spout of the tanks before going back to the sump.
what would you do??
i just don't really want to set up yet another system for quarantining corals unless absolutely necessary.
thanks for the advice

Unfortunately, it's not really a QT if it's the same water. Sorry man. On the flip side, a QT setup doesn't have to be anything profound..

+1, Just need the basics in the back room. No need for a fancy QT tank, 2-3 weeks in there and some good observations should prevent any parasites from getting into the tank.
