I havent posted in ages but to reintroduce myself to anyone who might not know me
im reef-kid, from victoria bc also known as fishboy or david.

I just spend a week on hornby island at my family camp site, it was one of the lowest tides i have seen on sandpiper (a rocky sandstone/volcanic beach) filled with crab, oysters, scallops, abalone, octopus etc...
its some of the clearest and warmest (26 degrees celcius in the bay due to the hot sand/sandstone) water I have ever seen around the coast.

so i have a few pics of my fun time exploring :)
i thought that otherwould really enjoy some of these pics:)

Awesome thanks for sharing! I really need to see more of my own country (and avoid that shirt like the plague haha).

I've always hated the name "sea blubber." It's such an insulting name for a creature so beautiful under the water. Anyways, always nice to see people appreciating the amazing marine life BC has to offer.
