I have a Neptune Aquacontroller Jr head unit with the temp probe, pH probe but no DC8 (keeping it for my new AC3). It is the newer black with blue backlight unit. It has the serial port but I could never get it to work. Works great, just wanted to upgrade to the AC3 for the ethernet and iphone capability. $100
