This was sold to me a rose anemone but it has to have a more specific name than that. I tried to google it but had no luck. Any idea what type it is? http://i859.photobucket.com/albums/ab152/biocuber/IMG_1327.jpg

Coud be a rose bubble tip anemone, but not sure. It's a little bleached and doesn't really have bubble tips right at the moment. If it is, they usually come in either green/brown or rose colour. Scientific name is Entacmaea quadricolor.

looks like a very bleached BTA to me as well, be careful tho because if you have the stock lighting in your biocube (if that's where you're putting it) it may not recover.

Excellent, I will be able to find lots of info on it now. I can put it under my 250W MH if that will help nurse it back. I fed it a silverside which it greedily devoured. Seems the poor little thing was not being properly cared for.

Ah yes, it will like that light much better than the lights at the store, just be careful and acclimate it slowly to the much brighter lights, it will take a while before it can handle a full day of MHs

I agree, and feed it lots.

I gave it 2 hours under the MH today and fed it a big squirt of mysis shrimp. The pink is much more vivid already.
