I think I am going to make a T5 pendant for my 150g. No one sell's a 60" light, So I'll make one. 48" and 72" bulbs you say. Well, I am thinking of staggering them. The light intensity will lessen at the ends, but thats fine, atleast the pendant will be full length, and not look short. Thinking I am going to need 8 bulbs for a 24" wide tank? Maybe 10? Making the pendant, I can do. me and Aluminum get along pretty good. As well, I can coat it something special. I wanted to go MH, but allready, with 2 150DE and 1 250SE theres alot of heat. My house just isnt prepared to deal with all that, and I see buying a Mega air conditioner for the living room kinda like throwing good money after bad.

So, where can I get some of them Excellent German engineered reflectors? Or something of the like. :D

back when looking for retros for T5 seemed the top two were the SLR and TEK2.

If considering bending your own, this link (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1112777) shows the profiles.

I just finished (about a month ago) an 8 bulb 48" fixture. My tank is 48"x24" and I think 10 bulbs would've been too much of a squeeze as I also have a profilux simu-led strip tucked into the middle.

I chose the Ice-Cap reflectors, J&L carries those now as well and they are a step up from the sunlight supply.
