hey guys,

after a long debate whether or not i should set up a frag tank i decided to go for it...i for one cant stand the sight of frags laying around all over the display i have it just bugs me. So i setup a seperate system just for frags.

The tank itself is 24in x 12.2in x 9in as for any frag tank the lower the better as you dont have to use ultra strong light to get the lights to the frags.

The skimmer on there is a deltec mce300

Flow wise i decided to use 2x koralia 1 and have a koralia nano on stand by if i need more flow.

the light consists of 1x 70w MH running 20k bulbs to bring out the purple, blue, green colors and 2x 13W 4100K PC bulb for bringing out the reds, pinks, and the yellows.

heres are the pictures:

The tank is now filled with coral sand + LR.
i added a chaveut SF-400S light controller as a pump controller, the 2 koralia 1s now alternate every 2 minutes, and the koralia nano keeps on constant flow going around the perimeter of the tank.

im thinking about added 3 live stock to the tank at the moment mainly for pest controll:

1 small yellow coris wrasse (AEFW)
1 blenny of sorts (hair algae)
1 peppermint shrimp (aptasia)

hopefully this will also keep my skimmer working and provide some nutrients for the frags as i will keep this tank on VSV + MB7 as well.
