Anyone have a successful culture of Phytoplankton they are raising?
Looking to start growing my own to raise my own pods.
Nanochloropsus strain perhaps.

Not at the moment but within the next few months.
I dabbled for a few months and had a good batch going. To try things out I used DT's for a starter which I believe is a blend of nano, T-iso, and tet? Cultures started out a nice bright green but over time they switched to a yellow-gold as one strain took over. I then "pushed" the culture to see how long before it crashes (over two weeks). Next time around I'll be starting with pure strains and improve hygiene to prevent cross-contamination. I will be culturing calanoid copepods next year so I need to get the phyto down pat. I'll be getting in some pure strains and will let you know, would be nice to share cultures so we have back-ups.

I always used to get my strains from Florida Aqua-Culture Farms. I did T-iso and Nano back in the day...
Francis, what does your set up look like?
