I'm looking for a reef safe glue. I'd like to use, to make a repair to my tank. A section of egg crating, i had glues around the edge of my overflow has broken off. Is there a "reef safe glue" i could use to glue it back on? It was siliconed on, at first, but the tank is now running, and I don't know if silicone is a reef friendly glue, once the tank has been established and running.

If you silicone it out of the tank, let cure 24 hrs. All is good. CA, (Cyanoacrylate) aka Crazy Glue is also reef safe. It's what most use to glue coral frags to the plugs

That won't work, I'm affraid. The overflow is internal, the tank is established and running, and full of livestock. The egg crating was glued to the top edge of the overflow to prevent critters from flowing into the overflow. It can't be taken out, and allowed to cure.

lower water level and use only internal pumps for a day while glue dries/cures
