Have had my tank up and running for about 6 months now. Have a few small fish at this point (yellow tang and a blennie), some snails a few softies and LPS coral pieces. Will next like to proceed into more LPS coral and SPS as well as more fish, etc. Question: Like to know the best salt to use?. Are they all the same? I have used mostly 'D-D H2 Ocean Pro' and used 'Reef Crystals' once. From your experience, are there major differences in these or another brand I should be using. Many thanks.

Here we go again.

Seriously, there have been a ton of posts on this. Instant Ocean is what I use. You can use the expensive stuff, but really, it is cheaper to just dose the extra stuff.

Whatever salt you use, still good idea to test it to see if it needs supplementing.

Another best salt thread (http://canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=37875&highlight=supplement)
