So friday I went to my friends pet store (which is also a doggy daycare) and someone (2 weeks ago) put a box by the front door of her store with a note on it saying "please find us good homes" Inside the box was 2 small female kittens :surprise: So she was hoping to find good homes for them and she was giving them away for free.

Of course I had to take a look at them, they are 6 weeks old and one is all dark grey and the other is light grey and white. Well I knew Steve's Mom had been wanting a dark grey cat, so I phoned her up and she ended up taking the dark grey kitten. I also knew that Steve's brother was thinking about getting another cat so (knowing we were going to see Steve's brother that night) I took the light grey and white kitten home with me, thinking we'd give it to Steve's brother that night. Well we ended up falling in love with the little kitten (even though we already have one cat and 3 dogs :crazyeye:) so it looks like we'll be keeping her.

The problem is we can't agree on a name for her. So I was hoping people on here could share some ideas for names and help us out. I would like a female(ish) name that is cool &/or pretty and different/unique.

*EDIT* Her name is Sookie

Here's pictures to help:

In case you were wondering the red thing she's playing with is the plastic pull thing from a Yop drink lid.

Ohmygod! Soooo cute!! What a little darling!

I think its hilarious that you can buy them all sorts of fancy toys but they still love that plastic pull thing you find on drink lids. My cats love the ones off the plastic jugs of milk

Oh and sorry, I suck at names. My cat went around for 3 weeks being called "the kitty" because I couldn't come up with a decent name. One day, I was watching lord of the rings and poof there it was: Pippin  My second cat came with a name. *whew*

Ya, she's super cute  Which is why we couldn't (even though I need another cat like I need a hole in my head) give her up. Oh and it's so true about the toys, I bought a pack of 5 toys for her (which she does like) and my friend who visited us yesterday bought her a toy as well, but often she will play with the plastic thing over all the toys.

Her color reminds me of the bottom of rain clouds in summer... I'd call her Nimbus.

Or not. I named my cat Gato (spanish for cat).

How about "Beast that sprays the couch and eats the songbirds and Poops in the Roses"

Sorry I am not a big cat fan. Enjoy your new "pet".

 She's litter box trained and will be an indoor cat so no worries there

Anyway after many name ideas we decided to call her "Sookie" after the main character in the TV show "True Blood"

Hummm, didn't think about that. She'll be going to the vet in a week to get her 1st shoots, does the vet give deworming med.s at that time or would it be better to get it done sooner? I'm not sure if she even has worms or if she would of been exposed to them or not, how do you tell?

All kittens have worms ~ but I would not make a special trip wait till she gets her shots.
Oh and puppies too, hope Snaz doesn't see this, he he!
