On my 265 I'll be running 3ea 400W HQI with 14K Bulbs. I'll be supplementing with T5's

I have 4ea 48" T5 fixtures already:
-----------------
-----------------
Halide - Halide - Halide

-----------------
-----------------

Will this be enough or should I add some 36" bulb in there?

---------------/---------
--------/----------------
Halide - Halide - Halide
---------------/---------
--------/----------------

Or should I only run them in the front:
Halide - Halide - Halide
---------------/---------
--------/----------------

Also should I run full Actinic bulbs for all T5 Bulbs"

Not sure of the lengths but would consider having them in the front only. I'm running 2x54W T5 on both sides of the MH only because the tank is viewable both sides (my supplement thread (http://216.187.96.54/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=50851)).

And to throw into the mix have you looked at the 60", 80W T5s?

I've looked into the longer lights. The only reason for using the 48" was because I have them left over from my 75 gallon. I thought I might reuse them.

Thanks for the link.. I'll check it out.

The tank is 7'?

I would use the 4' T5s...might as well. I would run it like this (* is the bulb, and - is blank area):

*****************
----------*******************
Halide Halide Halide
----------*******************
*****************

Yep, the tank is 7 feet.

Here's a stupid question, can I replace the 48" bulb with a 36" bulb by moving the standoff in a foot? Will this over drive the bulb or damage the ballast?
