Thought I may have a home lined up but I am going to have to start looking again. This guy is nicer than any tusk you will ever find in a store! I feed him extremely well with vitamin enriched foods. Eats everything from Nori to fresh seafoods and pellets even. He also eats Shrimps, crabs and tries to eat small snails. I am not sure about cleaner shrimp though. He may leave them alone.

Not aggressive at all. In fact he was bullied for a long time by my Hippo Tang and is very submissive.

About 4-5" now. Going to be a big guy though and I prefer he go to a 180 or bigger. He really cruises around the 200 and I can't imagine him crammed into a smaller tank.

Doesn't bother corals at all, lived all the time I had him with a serpent star and left it alone, leaves small fish alone. He was with a cucumber that he used to check out but never attacked.

Great fish and I really want to see him go to a good home.

I paid about $190 with taxes, so I think $130 is fair, especially since he is so much nicer now than he was when I got him. Has been around ich but only ever saw a spot or two. Haven't seen ich in the tank for a month now even after all the stress of dismantling it, so I think it's pretty much gone.

I had many, many, many PM's about this fish the first time around. I guess people were expecting to get him for nothing? Price too high?

Nice Tusk. I think the price you're asking is very reasonable. I recently purchased a slightly bigger Australian Harlequin Tusk (6") here in Calgary for $250. Maybe I overpaid, but these Australian guys don't come by very often. If you were only in Calgary and if I could put two of these guys in my 500 gallon, I would be all over it. Good luck with the sale.

I am considering one of these guys for my next tank. Beautiful fish! I think your asking price is more than reasonable.

Do you think he would be happy in a 155 bowfront? It's a long ,somewhat short tank which is good for fast swimmers. With the sump I have over 200 gallons!

Yeah he would probably be fine in a 155 if it's not too crowded. I think they max out at about 10" and of course they are not likely to actually get that big in a tank.

PM me if your interested. What else do you have for fish?

He needs a home soon if possible. I am moving him to a 75G tomorrow and I don't think he will be happy in such a small tank!
