I need to get 2 65W PC lights for my Coralife light. They are 65W 50/50 squarepin bulbs. With the loss of my job, I have to cut back on expenses so I'm looking for the cheapest place.

Thanks

I've looked and looked in the past but couldn't find anywhere local. I found a place that sells 55w 10k's cheap but that's it. As far as LFS's I would assume that you will find the best price at Golds.

-sorry to hear about your job :(

Might try pisces. They had lots of square pin PC's there when I was looking for some straight pin.

J&L has them on sale right now for 20% off and I was thinking about getting some, if we went in on it together and split the shipping it would be fairly inexpensive.

But then there would be the shipping between Calgary and Edmonton too.

After needing 96W PC I can tell you that Red Coral is where I ended up buying. Them and Oceans were priced pretty close. I assume Golds would be close as well. The two large stores in town (one of them already mentioned) were around 33% more than those smaller shops. I find that the larger stores (who you would think would be able to compete as they would buy in “quantity”) must feel that they should jack up their prices on lights, powerheads, bulkheads etc...

If you do decide to order from J&L there is a fellow who is ordering from there (cutoff Wed) so it is free shipping. Just look through the threads here.

Good luck on the job front...

Unless I am mistaken there is no free shipping on replacement bulbs. I could be wrong though.

Just for those of you PC users out there, I am due for replacement bulbs for my 36" coralife PC light. I wonder what colour combination is everyone going after out there for only 2 bulb fixture?
