So, I had a little purple/green anemone in my tank.. I say had because it split about a month ago but had never really recovered from the split. Last night I noticed my big ass BTA (anyone who has seen it can confirm it really is a big ass BTA) was shunk down and that there was a lot of GFA on the glass and the water was a bit murky. I found the two clones near the back of the tank melting.

I did a bigger water change ~20G I typically just do 5G weekly, and refilled my TLF reactor with fresh zeo carbon.

This morning (lights were off of course) everything seemed to be fine looking, no traces of the clones.

I am sure I did everything right to ward off the negative effects of a dying 'nem but thought I would ask for advice from any one elses experience.

Looks like you got 'er under control. Good luck! Should be ok.

Not much you can do really but a waterchange, run some carbon. Tank ought to recover, sometimes this happens and the water clears up before you even know something's up and then weeks later you're like.. didn't I have an anemone?
