Has anyone seen those Sebae at Wais? They look stunning, a SUPER bright yellow (like the yellow on the tim hortons cups!).. However the base is yellow too, it almost looks radioactive, has me very suspicious. Anyone else see them?

Here is a link in regards to dyed anemones etc:)
http://www.wetwebmedia.com/dyedcorals.htm
I tried to find a link that i had on Reef central a couple years back as i was tempted to buy one as we'll.
And Anemones can indeed be a very pale yellow/light brown but never the vibrant yellow that those nems are.
Most lfs have no idea that they are indeed dyed and many nems can and have lived. They just lose the colour over time.Or sadly perish from the dye.
It is of course once again the suppliers dyeing them to look great so they will sell.
Just my opinion of course...lol:)

The ones that are dyed are very well known to the LFS's. I used to assist a couple of stores with unpacking their shipments, and these dyed anemones were always floating in very bright yellow or pink water. They leach the color back into the bag, making it very obvious that it is dyed.

I have had one from there for almost four months and it is still bright yellow. A little faded compared to as when it first came home, but still super bright. Hosted by a large saddleback clown and growing by the day. I have had no issues with it at all.

I've seen a few yellow ones lately that didn't have that characteristic bag fouling. The colour of the thing make me suspect it was dyed initially but they did well as far as I know. I'm not really sure what to make of it.
