so i am haveing to downgrade form my 90 gallon reef with 50 gallon sump and 55 gallon with 45 gallon sump to a 20 gallon with a 10 gallon sump the time isnt there to maintain to larger tanks as im working on renovateing my house.

so im going to start a 20 gallon sos nano and do the nano zeovit system with a 10 gallon sump.

so far i have the drilled 20 gallon the stand sump and lighting.

olnything i cant decide on is run a 250 watt metal halide or a 175 watt metal halide mogul i have. and what bulb to go with. i have a couple power comapcts kickcing around i could use for actinics

here is where i started and where i am at so far

cleaned up and on the stand i found that will work with a litle more suport and 175 watt mh on it. what woudl eb better 175 or the 250 ? will the 250 be to much for the 20 gallon ?

i will have more updates this week once i build the new overflow and work on the sump and plumbing a bit.

ya i know evaporation is going to be a bit of an issue with olny a 20 gallon tank and a 10 gallon sump. im goign to run an autotop off on it though. and will vent the hood realy well and have fans on both end for cooling.

here's a small update on the tank not much the weather has kind of stoped me being able to pull my table saw outside and cut my plexi for the overflows and reinforcement for the stand and hood.
