I purchased 3 lbs (1 gallon) of ROX 8.0 carbon from Bulkreef in the last group purchase. The pellet size is too small to be fluidized in a twolittlefishies reactor...so I can't use it.

Here's the product:

$10. Please get this stuff out of my sight!

I use BRS ROX carbon in my TLF reactor with no problems, Brad. How are you trying to use it?

How am I using it? I put it in the TLF phosban reactor and try to fluidize it. Nothing special. About 1/3 of what I put in there floats (how can you fluidize something that floats?) A LOT of the stuff is simply so small that it goes right through my sponge and ends up floating around the surface of my sump.

The stuff is just really, REALLY small pellets. I'll be pulling them out of my sump for the next few years. If you look in the bucket, it looks like black grass clippings.

Bad experience...I'm moving on. Done with that.
