Water alarms

Is anybody using them to detect overflows and leaks? Something like this (http://www.freezealert.com/detail.aspx?ID=10) looks like it might provide some peace of mind.

If you have a home alarm system you can add a "water bug sensor (http://www.smarthome.com/7160/WaterBug-Water-Sensor-WB-200/p.aspx)" if your paying for monitoring anyway.
