I picked up some "frogspawn" yesterday but I am thinking it may be Hammer Coral? Tips look a little clubbed. I have 2 small pieces, Can anyone tell me for sure?
Also can frogspawn and Hammer be put close together/touching?

+1 for the frogspawn

Hammer is very obviously hammer when you see the two next to one another.

According to several sources, frogspawn and hammer can be placed together (I have them almost touching in my tank without problem) This write up also says the same:http://www.saltcorner.com/sections/zoo/800frameset.htm ( check under "stony corals", then "Euphyllia" ) This is a great website for everything in our tanks:biggrin:

You can pretty much have any euphyllia touching with no issues, at least in my experience keeping torches, frogspawn and hammers.

I thought the same until my torch wiped out a couple heads of my frogspawn.

frogspawn and hammers/anvils seem to tolerate one another but torchs' do not mix well.

It's a frogspawn for sure.
