well its been 19 months and i need my fix! (lol).
just got my 20 gal cube from my little bro (thanks steve).
20x17x14 right hand overflow.
i got the tank all cleaned up ad ready to go.
the stand i,ll start on my next days off, and i,ll have pics.

20x17x14 20gal
10 gal sump
coralife super skimmer 220
250 watt
2xt5 lights.
20lbs live sand
20 to 30 lbs live rock

2 clowns
1 six line
2 cleaner shrimp
clean up crew.
and a clam if cathrine doen,t buy them all before i am ready.
i,ll start posting pics. around the 28th or 29th.
man its good to be back!

Did you get approval from your S.O. to have this tank in that spot? You may, um, want to check on that. But on the plus side, water changes are going to be a breeze!

too think i was selling 6 of thouse and not a single bite lol they look good when there cleaned up and out of my basement

is stony plain near calgary?

because i have an aquaC urchin for sale for only 70 bucks and i bet it would probably be in about the same quality range as the coralife skimmer

unless you already have your skimmer..

well i had a problem this days off.
i tryed a mag 9.5 for a return and all was good for 20 min.
then the tank started to overflow.(good thing the boss was not home)
so i got myself a mag 5 all is looking good now.
sump under planing this week
skimmer on the bus right now
have t5ho lights on the way
i,ll skin the stand this weekend.

skimmer is here and lookig good!
a little change on the lighting
4x 54 watt t5ho,s
just need to think of the buld types. any input would be awesome.

lmao ya i told him its way too big but i had it just sitting here so he wanted too use it pretty bad when your skimmer holds the same volume as your sump

that tank looks great. not a typical 20G, this thing is going to look SWEET!!!

water is in and flowing.
1.5 inch sand bed
about 25/30 lbs live rock thanks dennie.
i,ll post some pics tomorrow when it clears up some.
ok in two weeks time i,ll need frags!

the old skimmer worked overtime for 2 days.

Looks really great Ed! I'm seriously considering selling my 90g and downsizng to the Solana but I'm not crazy about the stand for it, I may just have to mimic yours :smile:

j digital lighting is a pfo with ice cap ballast. 14k ham.

noirsphynx my bro has 5 more tanks like this one plus some 40 gals too.
we coul do a build any time your ready!

I really like the cube size of the solana 20" square and I like that it's an AIO but this is awfully tempting. Definitely something to consider.
