View Full Version : Purple plume gorgonian

Have a piece of Muriceopsis flavida, purple plume gorgonian. Started off as a frag I made a little while ago and has turned into a sweet little multibranced colony, approx. 3"-4" in size overall.

Wouldn't you know it, I go to take a picture of it today and it's shedding. Oh well, you can still get an idea of what this coral is like even if the polyps aren't all the way out. I'll try to get a shot of it of it under normal conditions.

This is a photosynthetic gorgonian, very easy IMO, doesn't need to be fed but loves the occasional Cyclops-eeze.
