Wow.
Wish I had that kind of growth in a year's time.
Looks wonderful.

What happened to your cap?
It disappeared for '09?

Some of your colonies are bigger than all of my sps combined....lol

Hehe it sometimes seems that I've had real success in growth only over the last year or so but all of those acros were grown from tiny 1" sticks. Its just in the last year that you can actually see them without having to use a macro lens :razz:

The caps had an infestation of monti eating nudibranches mid 2008. I took all of them out and treated them with potassium permanganate (works like a hot damn!) but then couldn't manage to get them remounted so I ended up just putting some frags of them in. You can sorta see the purple cap off to the left under the wavebox, theres pieces of the tan cap, well everywhere (largest under the brown stag on the right) and the yellow cap...damn, I think its fallen again. I'll have to figure out how to mount it on the overflow or something.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but its only 2 years.. lol

Jan 07 --> Jan 08 = 1 Year
Jan 08 --> Jan 09 = 1 Year

:wink:

Regardless of that, the tank looks great Christy! :biggrin:

The tank looks great Christy.

The growth and colour is fantastic. After a few years our tanks seem to mature and growth seems to happen in spite of whatever we do.

I think your going to need a much bigger tank soon.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

As for the bigger tank, well yeah thats a definite go. I have most of the parts ready to roll, just need a bigger house which is in the works. Hopefully by summer I'll have a 180g build thread. It was going to be bigger but it was starting to scare my husband :razz: I'll try for the monster tank in a couple more years :wink:

Tank looks great! Are you cleaning the rear glass now, or did it evolve that way? (Each pic the coraline decreases).

Unfortunately it evolved that way. The coralline algae just died off until there was and is now nothing. I still have some on the rocks but very little. I wish I could figure it out.

Looks good Christy. Colours are awesome. I'll trade you some corraline frags for some nice acro frags???
