Just a general question about T5 lighting. I currently have 1 x actinic, 2 x 10000k and 1 x 12000k. I am finding that the light is way too white but I really want to try and cover a wide spectrum of light. I also don't really want to be too blue. Any suggestions. I don't want to keep buying bulbs to try and find what works and what I like at the same time.

what type of corals are you keeping in the tank? you could try some fiji purples instead of the 12k and 1 10k maybe

softies dont require a ton of light and lps are from deeper water and pefer blue light so i would ditch the 10k's and switch to purples if you dont like the blue color of 22k's

Is the actinic a pure actinic or a 22000K bulb? A pure actinic will get drowned out and have little impact on your lighting.
How about switching the 10Ks and/or 12K with 14Ks? The KZ new gens are very nice. Maybe running 2 14K with 1 10K and 1 purple would be nice.
My lighting is just slightly bluish. I have an AquaScience 17,500K and a KZ Fiji Purple. I really like the color. The Aquascience is REALLY blue, but the Fiji Purple is kinda reddish, so the combination looks really nice, and the colors on the corals really pop. i am very impressed with these bulbs. :)
