Hey guys,

I just came back from diving in Belize and I found a couple of these guys over there and they are simply the most amazing fish I have seen in the ocean. Simply, incredible. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this fish, how big of a tank I need it, how hardy it is, how hard it is to keep it.

I have looked around and can't find the fish for sale at the default places that I looked ( mostly J&L ). So, I'm wondering if anyone knows anything. Haven't found any posts on here either.

Here is the fish in case no one knows.

And here is a link of it swimming ( even better ).

I didn't know that their bodies changed to look like the picture you posted above. I loved the way that this fish behaved and looked like when I was diving. I'm looking forward to making it a member of my aquarium.

from what ive seen, survival isn't promising. established specimens should do fine in the right tank though. the one you pictured is a juvenile Equetus punctatus. ive never seen them for sale in canada.

Well, I'm going to continue to dream about this fish. Definately something I'd like to have one day, but I think I'll get used to the hobby a bit more before I take up something that sounds hard to keep fed.
