Nice chevron! Looks like it's a pretty deep tank. can barely see the coral at the back, unless that's reflection of the rest of the tank to the left.

Saw Denis's tank on New Years Day. It's spectacular and that clam is one of the nicest Croceas I have ever seen. Those colonies are huge too. Definetly has my vote for a TOTM.

Yah just wait till Denis has a better camera.... I went with Chowder as well on new years day and all I could do was say wow like 15 times, one of the nicest tanks I've seen with colonies forearm size if you look at the tunze then multiply that x 5 thats what the yellow colonie at the center top amounts to.

Denis you have to promise to get better pics up!!

I was at Denis' place on new years as well and Denis definitely has my vote for tank on the month ! And he is probably the nicest and most knowledgeable person I have ever met in this hobby.

beautiful tanks....can someone PLEASE tell me how they are keeping bubble corals with sps? isn't the flow for the sps driving the bubble to shrivel? I have tried 3 times and just can't do it...I have a 36x18x20 with 2 maxijet mods and 2 maxi 900's all on a wavemaker...the sps are great...but it was just too much for the bubble...so then I put one in my nano, and it is a 20L on runs 2 hydor nanos and the bubble would still not inflate all the way....I LOVE them, and would like to find a way to have one in either of the tanks

I would like to know thae same thing. I have 2 vortech mp40w's 2 K4's and a K3 on my 120 (48x24x24). I have a bubble that is now toast.... Tryed putting him in a cave to try and shelter him a bit but it never helped. But on the up side my SPS is doing great.

My bubble did well in the sps tank with k4's and then tunze the idea is to keep it in a low flow area of your tank or alternatively use lr on both sides of the coral to disipate/redirect some of the flow.

Very nice tanks everyone keep em comin!

Master it.

When it comes to cameras my name changes to HOMER (you know SIMPSON).

Just when I think I got it, my next picture shows that I know nothing.

The Canon G9 however gives me the best chance at a decent shot.

These are the one fish that actually stay in a school. I don't know if they are just always scared or what but they don't venture out of their cave alone much. They are great fish. Apparently you can keep adding more too. I have 6 now.

It was already cracked, I broke it on purpose so I could carry it out of the house myself and make room for the new one. I probably shouldn't have posted it, I don't want to take the thread off topic.

It is actually about 10" longer on either side. Left side has my monti garden and the right side has a 8 head Octospawn and a few sps frags. It is had to get the whole thing in with my point and shoot camera.
How is the weather in Flin Flon? I have a friend that lives there. He works in the mine.

Yeah, it is hard to get an idea of size in the pictures I posted. The table is about the size of a volleyball.

I think it is called a Crayola Acropora.

Hi Ian. Here are your shots after running them through Photoshop Autocolour command, about two mouse clicks. Most camera software will also have some colour correction features you can play around with once the photos are on your computer.

I was going to show my tank but I think I'll just use yours instead. I think this thread should exclude professionals, I can't possibly compete!

tank is now runing as of june this year (did it 2x wrong) now I have a filter room, MH HQI lichts, live sand, a little DIY skimmer and everything is working 100% better than ever before

total volume would be around 450 gal (350 gal tank, 65 gal sump, 55 gal spare tank that is conected to the systen (optional to be used for frags, now with about 5 inch of LS)

Thanks Chris, I'm really happy with how it's doing so far. I also posted some more pictures in the Pictures thread with some progress shot. It's an Aqua C Remora Pro skimmer. The pre-skimmer box was too big for my little tank so you can see my "custom" made one in the pic. It's a piece of plastic from some packaging held on with string. It stops the microbubbles! :)

Not the clearest shot, but I like it because it shows off the "seamless" part of the tank

Nice shot, I love your tank. I'd love one just like it :D The rounded seamless corners are such a nice touch. I also have about a 30 gallon bowfront in my bedroom that is a freshwater tank.
