The koralias will make a clicking sound every time they start up for a bit (the prop moves up and down the shaft) and then the sound will go away. It would probably shorten the life of the powerhead.

The unit is aprox. 14months. I only used it for about 1wk... my modified MaxiJets kept getting stuck, so I just shelfed it and went with constant flow.
