Grrr Just got ripped on a bucket of salt :(

Just checked my reciept form the Total Pet in Kamloops. I bought a few things there, and wasnt even paying attn to the total. One of the tings I picked up was a bucket of Reef Crystals. I remember it was $79.95 I think. I remember reading that it has more mg than IO so I figured I'd try it. Well, Looking at the bill, $135.95 for the bucket. Im like WTH??? I paid with Debit card too, without driving the 2 hrs to Kamloops, Im pretty much screwed for the refund???? If someone is going to TP on the north shore, can you please confirm the price of a bucket. Havn't used the bucket yet, I can return it, But sheesh thats a waste of $50 gas.

I would say you were definitely overcharged, a bucket of Reef Crystals in Calgary usually runs around $65-70.

That's what Total Pet in Kelowna sells their bucket of IO for too. There's been the same bucket sitting there for YEARS. IO should only cost you $40-50 for the bucket. Maybe $60 if they're really getting you.

Next time, order your bucket of salt from J&L. It will be $40 + about $15 shipping if I remember correctly.

Why don't you phone them? You could fax them a copy of your receipt and ask if you can return on your next trip. All they can say is NO.:smile:

OK Crisis averted. I called them, and they are setting up a refund at the total pet here in town. The TP here doesnt have SW goods, is why I went to kamloops. Would have called this morning, but I was off to Williams Lake first thing. Jumped the gun and to excited I guess LOL
