We drew names with our daughters this year, more to save them money I think.
I did 100% of my shopping online this year and it was GREAT!!
Cooked our first brined turkey, yum yum yummy !
Tried chocolate cheese for the first time. Another yum yum yummy !

This was the first Christmas where there were little kids in the family (nieces and nephews..all at once!) so buying things for them was rad. Also the first christmas dinner I hosted...Sure glad the other half was there with my Jack and Coke or a Jack and Cranberry

I grew up a very picky eater, and as a child I hated the taste of yams. As an adult I've noticed that my taste buds have changed and now I like many different types of food that I never liked as child. So for the first time in 25 years I tried yams... and now I like them :biggrin:

+1 for the turducken...and a close second is deep fried turkey...mind you..everything is good deep fried LOL
