It's been about a week now and I've been over feeding the tank just to make sure he get's enough to eat, but all seems well so far. JL got a shipment so I couldn't resist any longer! Have him in my RSM and he's really fun to watch...

nice fish.... That will be my next fish for my new 50g breeder. Set up specially for super nice corals and a max of 2-3 fish, also it's skimmerless. first will be a red wheeler goby and pistol shrimp, next is the BSJ and lastly will be another goby maybe a sand sifter. I do not want to put any wrasses as they will steal food from my corals that's why I want to go with shy but nice type fish. What are you feeding it and how often?

I'm feeding him a random mix of mysis, brine and blood worms. He started coming right out into the water column today to eat... Also took some small LR and broke it into pieces and put it infront of his burrow. Within minutes, he tooks them all and built a nice little nest.

so he readily took food that's a good sign for an expensive fish, I hope mine does the same when I get it in the spring thanks!!

I asked them to feed the six they had in, most took food but he seemed most eager and the coloring was the best so I chose him.

Cool fish, I wanted one too but couldn't pull the trigger on the prce so I settled for a pearly jawfish instead. Very cool!

hope you keep the tank covered. They are known to carpet surf.

I have him in a Red Sea Max tank... he tried twice when we first put him in, but I think that gave him a head ache! :)
