He was sold to us as a Juvenile Unicorn Tang. Looks close to a vlamingi? Anyone have any insight on this?

That's kinda what I was thinking. But looking back at Untamed's tank build thread and his picture of his juvi vlamingi they don't really look the same :confused:
Just so everyone knows he's in our 230g tank.

Cute...yes...cute like a baby whale! Yes, definitely that is a vlamingi tang. (Naso vlamingi) Assuming that you don't starve him, he will be 10" within 8 months.
All the Naso tangs are sometimes referred to a unicorn tangs. This is because some of them develop unicorn horns (Naso unicornis, for example). N. vlamingi is also called the "humpnose"...while they don't get a horn, they do develop a rather bulbous nose.

Thanks for clairifying. We realize he's going to get big fast and hey, if or should I say when he outgrows the 230g it'll give me a reason to upgrade :mrgreen:
