Hi reefers,

Want to setup my RODI unit om my washing machine room. Connecting to the Cold Water outlet using a y adapter to split the flow and adding a valve which can restrict flow to the unit keeping it running in the 80psi range These parts should be easy to find. But from this point on i need some parts/adapters to downgrade Hose ID's to RODI unit lines which I think are about 1/4" +/- in OD size. My RODI unit did come with a plastic 3/4" female end which downgraded to the units line but heavy useage and being cheap plastic the adapter is stripped now and is useless. My problem is where in Calgary can I get all these parts. I have been to Rona with no luck. Surly there is a place that can help me out that has all the parts ??? Any Ideas?

thx
Sean

I've done this twice before, I got everything I needed from Home Depot.

I used a Y splitter with built in valves on the faucet/valve which I got from the garden hose section. The laundry hose attached to the one side as before.

On the other side I used a 3/4" x 1/2" pvc threaded bushing from the PVC plumbing department.

Then I used a plastic 1/2" thread to 1/4" loc (for RO line) fitting which was in another isle next to the PVC plumbing with all the small brass fittings and such.

Don't forget the Teflon.

Worked great.
