This months subject: Polyps!
Requested, but not required, members should post info about their picture. This could include a picture title and camera specs.
Only the first 20 entries will be used, so do not delay.Entries will be accepted until Dec 23rd, 2008.
Entries to be posted in this thread, if you have troubles posting please email your photo to candjszoo@gmail.com and I will post it for you :biggrin:
This Months Prize is an 8 X 10 print of your winning photo

Voting to take place Dec 24th through Dec 31st.
Contest Rules are as follows:
1) You must follow the guidelines given for each contest
2) ALL members including vendors can enter, photos must be from a personal display tank, not store stock.
3) The photo must be taken by you, and as long as it fits the subject you're in!
4) First come, first serve up to 20. But do not hesitate to continue posting pictures if 20 were already posted.
5) Each can post as many pictures as they want, but only ONE can be entered. Please specify which one when posting multiple pictures it will be chosen for you.
6) Have Fun!

argan you should get a bigger picture of your crab, and maybe a little closer up thats looks cool.

These were both taken with a nikon D200 with a Nikkor f2.8 VR 105mm. One is a simple green montipora I got from Bayside Corals and the other is a 5 colour rainbow Zoanthid from Wickedfrags.

Here are a couple i took today, my contest entry will be the Blasto photo, all photos taken with an Olympus evolt-e410 DSLR contest photo taken at f5.6 1/13 sec exposure time, iso-400 42mm focal lentgh max aperture 3.6132
(by the way how come Steve isn't sponsoring this months contest?)
(When this photo is views at its full resolution it is unreal, probably the best photo i feel ive taken to date)

I think some people had problems with a vendor running the contest??
Now it'll prob just die off and then people will complain when their is no contest

geesh, i dont get why people get so uptight about a vendor running the contest, its just mean great prizes to be had... that a real bummer that a few complaints can ruin something good...

Steve did a great job with running the POTM but at this time we thought it best to have the contest run by Canreef staff rather than a vendor
