Gotta love 'em though. As big a pain as they are urchins are still one of my favorite critters.

This is what I would call a friendly tank. Everyone living and playing together.

I recently saw a tuxedo urchin in one of the tanks out at OA and he was carrying a thermometer around on its back.

These guys can be very entertaining.

Gotta love the random assortment of stuff they pick up. I think mine prefers the suction cup top hat, though.

I thought I would bump this thread up.....I have a new urchin to be "freakin" about.....the tuxedo that I pictured before was into "Levis"........my new multicolor urchin has a slightly more expensive taste.....more like "Gucci" or "Prada".......sometimes I wonder why I keep adding these things to my tank.....then I remember what algae eating machines these critters are...

I hear ya, my pin cushion urchin took an entire frag plug (with frag!) out of the frag rack and took it for a ride around my tank for a couple days! Worth it though, the urchins are very cool.

I should have got a pic, but mine had a cleaner shrimp stuck to him. More a result of the tank draining, but after filling, the urchin was cruising around with the shrimp stuck to him....
