Since alots guys go for T5, I was thinking a T5 8x54 for the 120 gal sps<mostly softies and Lps> tank, But I'm not sure after I saw this one:
Outer Orbit 150W HQI/T5 48''
10000K PowerPaq: 2 x 150W
Actinic 460nm: 2 x 54W
Actinic 420nm: 2 x 54W
Lunar Light Blue/White: 9/9
Dimensions: 48" x 15" x 4.25"
Total Watts: 529
Total Amps: 4.6

Which way to go ? T5 cost less, if can do the same job, I will still stick with T5. How about you ? Thanks for you input.

That's basically the cadillac from current usa....

I've read many reviews on them and everyone has been happy.

I just went with 6 t5's on my 75 for cost savings, and I am very happy with them, so it really depends on the flexibility / appearence of the light you want. both will work just fine just need min 8 t5's on that size tank and really good reflectors, teks have made everyone happy...

You may be able to go with cheaper lights but then you may need more bulbs as well depending on the reflectors...

Hope that helps...

I have the Outer Orbit 36" with 2 x 250 MH. This faxture is being reviewed on Reef Central right now and I tend to agree with all that was said there. I did also replace my light bulbs after 3 months. Did not have to but wanted too.
