Has anyone tried this or is anyone currently Dosing vodka? I seem to have a build up of Phosphate I am running a reactor and still it builds up I am thinking there may be a untestable level in my tap water I know of a few people who have had this problem. So I am thinking about giving it a shot. So if any one has done or is doing it any advice would be great

P.S. I have read the article from reef keeping http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2008-08/nftt/index.php

Thanks

I have been dosing sugar for a while, as far as I know sugar is equivalent to vodka but cheaper, my advice is start very low and go slowly.

When I raised my sugar dosing too high my Monti cap turned from beautiful purple to faded out pale pink so I cut back.

Remember when dosing with vodka always use the "one for me, one for my tank tenchnique"
