I have something in my tank that resembles a Brown Egg Crab (see link)

http://www.wildsingapore.com/beachfleas/sisters/si3g.htm

I noticed it today as it was pulling my starfish in for dinner. I had noticed lumps missing from my starfish and was starting to wonder what was doing it.

Any ideas how I could get rid of it?

Thanks
Martin

Lean a glass jar against some rock work standing up at night. Put a smelt in it or something similar and when he goes in to get it it he wont be able to climb out.

Can this be done to any type of pest crab? I have a gorrila crab....i think. Its not harming anything yet, but don't want to really wait to find out. Doug

I caught my crab tonight. Got lucky he was in the corner of the tank and I go him with a glass.

What should I do with it now? I really does look like a brown egg crab which according to the web is an endangered species.

Here is a pic. He is currently in my kitchen sink!

Find someone who wants him? Or maybe bring him to the lfs if they are interested.
