First, yes, i have a caulerpa problem
Now...
I got this little tan bit of NOTHING thrown in the bag for free from the LFS back in March....and he grew! Started out maybe 1/2" and is now maybe 2.5"? plus encrusting. I can't get a good pic of the colours but it's turned out quite pretty, almost looks like a bit like a tricolour acro in colour or something. What do you think? The true in-tank colours are a darkish orangeyyellow, purple, pink with a greeney/blue sheen.
Sorry about the quality - it's a good camera, I just suck with it!!

Also throwing in a 2 pic of the tiny brown SPS that was also a freebie that has turned onto this big brown-with-pink tipped THING! Great PE on that one but I don't know what it is, seems happy tho. (I really do try to keep track of names but even they didn't know what these were)

First pic: allready 4x the size of when I got it:

aaand...one more pic: The pink zoos I got at the swapmeet that i'm ever so happy with. No real need for an ID, I think they're pink Martinis, just wanted to share the photo I <3 'em!

My guess on #1 is maybe A. valida.

#2 is Montipora digitata.

#3 is "pink zoo" or maybe "pink paly". :p

Yup, I'd buy that. (I googled A. Valida) Can't wait till it starts branching out. Right now it seems to be more focussed on encrusting everything around it. I'm glad I didn't throw it out about a month after I got it I was pretty sure it was dead!

And the other is definiately a monti digi, I wonder why it's stayed so brown? I have a brilliant orange one and a bright green one (thanks Marie!) that have stayed true to colour....maybe that one is just meant to be brown...Maybe I'll call it a "milk-chocoate finger coral" to make myself feel better about it! :D
